Democratization of Medicines Policies
HAI Africa works to ensure that the development of policy on medicines provides space and opportunity for citizens's participation. HAI Africa believes that such participation builds ownership and ensures that medicines policy takes into account the needs of citizens and is better aligned to address their needs. Our work on democratization also seeks to ensure that national and regional institutions are accountable to citizens in policy formulation by enabling their participation and input.
