Coexist Initiative

Coexist Initiative- Kenya is an East African regional network of community based organizations focusing on the elimination of gender based violence, respect of human rights and combating human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of children

The Coexist Initiative was founded in October 2000 as a not for profit synergy of community-based organizations with a commitment to foster good governance, gender parity, and child based initiatives.

It is based in Nairobi Kenya. Currently, the organization has offices in four other provinces. The organization is governed by an advisory council that is responsible for the directing and overseeing of the overall operations of the organization including strategic direction, programs and finances. The council is composed of a blend of diverse professional backgrounds, skills and experiences.
